It’s here that his artful and harmonic blending of vocals from a range of genres with the latest in electronic dance music comes to life. Never one to shy away from the call of new and exciting sounds and lyrics, his sets are a sonic journey forward that is sure to have your spirits soaring and your body moving.

Riff’s passion for the role music plays in creating safe spaces for self-expression was born from his own experiences taking time out as a pup. It was this headspace that allowed him to disconnect from the expectations and pressures of everyday life and explore his passion for music. A passion he now shares with the world, energising and uplifting dancefloors with his high energy sets and playful pup energy!

Sometimes fun creative moments happen entirely by chance, and this was one of them! I was just mucking around with loop roll / slip on some @nikkifresh vocals while playing another track by @laytongiordani / @space92__official when out of nowhere this synth unexpectedly answered back with the same sonic quality as if to mimic the vocals in a life-like way 😂 I knew right then this was a combo that HAD to be in the mix! Okay this set might be the most Pup Riff thing I've done to date! It's a marriage of solid rolling peak time techno with a range of sounds that I love, from layers of epic orchestral elements in the beginning to euphoric vocals sending you out into the night. It's a real sonic journey and one I'm excited to share 🧡

This location was also incredible! Filmed at the Ekabin Park street art wall in Brisbane, which is absolutely worth a visit 🎨

I think I'll have to make a return here, maybe for something a bit bigger. Stay tuned 😉

3️⃣ The next DJ lines up a track that matches your spin and mixes in when it's their turn.
